I met the Make Mine Pink ladies (the Pink People) while speaking at the Country Living Magazine Entrepreneur Conference earlier this year in Chicago.
It was love at first sight for me and for them.
They just interviewed me about social media, and I’ll be keynoting their private retreat in September.
I say some smart stuff about social media and offer some great advice. Check it out!

Hi Lena,
I had the fortune of attending the CL event with my “Pink MMP counterparts” to share in the celebration of our founder, Joyce Lucas as she accepted her award for “Entrepreneur of the Year”. The entire day was perfect!
I’ve never attended a seminar in my life, and when I returned that evening to my hotel, my mind was whirling! I will admit, there were wonderful speakers at the event, unfortunately, I had difficulty retaining much of what they said. But your speech won me over like no other, I felt as if you spoke as a friend, your information stuck with me, especially, “go ugly early”.. you won me over with those words!
I look forward to hearing you speak again at the Make Mine Pink Retreat, I know your topics will be extremely interesting, and I know too, there will be no need for pen and paper…
Until the Retreat, warmest wishes for a perfect summer~
